In the second video of our series exploring the use of the TI Filter Design Tool, we utilize the Tool to create a pair of band-pass filters to implement part of a DTMF receiver filter bank. The narrow passband specifications require high-order active filters with steep rolloff, and thus we explain and step through how to achieve this through proper configuration of the Tool settings. Circuit performance is demonstrated via simulation.
