Today I'm here with Elena and we're here to talk about sourcing and purchasing in the semiconductor industry. TI is on a mission to transform the experience for our customers to modernize it and to make it a lot more seamless and easy for our customers to procure our parts.

Thanks, Laura. Specifically, we are diving into the world of e-commerce APIs and the benefits of buying directly from Texas Instruments. But first, let's talk about the real challenges our customers are facing today with the traditional procurement methods.

Yeah, so we've had interviews with customers where they are going back and forth, doing everything via email, and manually typing everything in. This is incredibly slow and it does not help enable our customers to make decisions fast. So we want to modernize that and make that experience really great for our customers.

Yes. We believe that this is a new era of procurement for all of our customers. And the new e-commerce self-service capabilities put you in control by providing you seamless access to the world of embedded and analog semiconductors. Our new self-service capabilities include access to immediately available inventory, backlog features, APIs, line of credit features, checkout profiles, and so much more. All of this will help to support your hassle free buying experience that you get from TI, and it will help to reduce manual processes, minimize errors, and therefore save valuable time and resources. Laura, I often get asked, how does TI provide direct access via its ordering suite of APIs?

Yeah. So API or Application Programming Interface is essentially just a connection between us and our customers that gives our customers real time access to immediately available inventory or placing orders out in time and also access transparency into product information. So what that does is it enables a seamless communication channel between us and our customers so they can make decisions super fast.

This is a great feature. Thanks, Laura. And thank you for joining us today. And if you want to learn more about our new self-service features, please check out our webinar and the white paper. And we're here for you to help you redefine, optimize, and modernize your procurement journey.
