Why do I see a link to part category name instead of an equivalent TI cross reference part result for the part I searched/submitted?

In some cases, we may not have an equivalent TI cross reference part for the part that was searched/submitted, although the part was recognized as being a valid part in our database. When possible, we will provide a link to the product family page or parametric table page that matches the part category of the part that was searched/submitted. For instance, if the part searched was an Operational Amplifier, that we did not have an equivalent part for, then a link to our Operational Amplifier product family page will appear.  Here you will be able to research what TI part may fit your needs best.
