Once I am approved, how do I use my tax exemption?

If you have a tax exemption on file for the state you shipping to, an option will occur to apply that tax exemption and remove tax from the order. Please ensure that your company name and state in your shipping address matches exactly what is on the tax exemption certificate (no abbreviations, letter for letter, all spacing and punctuation precise). If your information does not match exactly, you will get an error message to contact the email address you provided in association with your submission of the tax exempt certificate to confirm the exact company name and state the certificate is associated with. If you are still having issues, please create a new case with Customer support center and then select TI store tax exemption.

It is up to you to confirm your order is not being charged taxes before selecting the place order button at the end of the checkout process. Do not place the order if you are being charged taxes and you believe you should be tax exempt. TI will be unable to credit the tax back post purchase.
