Once I am approved, how do I use my tax exemption?

In the TI.com header regional preferences, ensure that the ship-to region is set to United states and currency to USD. If you have a valid U.S. tax exemption certificate for the company and state you are shipping to, an option will occur to apply a tax exemption and remove tax from the order during the checkout process. Please ensure that your company name and state in your shipping address matches exactly what is on the tax exemption certificate (no abbreviations, letter for letter, all spacing and punctuation precise). If your information does not match exactly, you will get an error message to continue with a taxable order. If you are still having issues, please create a new case with customer support for further assistance.

It is up to you to confirm your order is not being charged taxes before selecting the place order button at the end of the checkout process. Do not place the order if you are being charged taxes and you believe you should be tax exempt. TI will be unable to credit the tax back post purchase.
