Description for the ADS9212

The ADS9212 is a 2-channel data acquisition (DAQ) system based on a dual, simultaneous-sampling, 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The ADS9212 features a complete analog front-end for each channel with an input clamp, 1MΩ input impedance, independently programmable gain amplifier (PGA), programmable low-pass filter, and an ADC input driver. The device also features a low-drift, precision reference with a buffer to drive the ADCs. A high-speed digital interface supporting 1.2V to 1.8V operation enables the ADS9212 to be used with high-speed interfaces.

The ADS9212 can be configured to accept ±12V, ±10V, ±7V, ±5V, ±3.5V, and ±2.5V bipolar inputs. The high input impedance allows direct connection with sensors and transformers, thus eliminating the need for external driver circuits. The high performance and accuracy, along with zero-latency conversions offered by this device make the ADS9212 designed for multiple industrial applications.

A custom reel is a continuous length of cut tape from one reel to maintain lot- and date-code traceability, built to the exact quantity requested. Following industry standards, a brass shim connects an 18-inch leader and trailer on both sides of the cut tape for direct feeding into automated assembly machines. TI includes a reeling fee for custom reel orders.

Cut tape is a length of tape cut from a reel. TI may fulfill orders using multiple strips of cut tapes or boxes to satisfy the quantity requested.

TI often ships tube or tray devices inside a box or in the tube or tray, depending on inventory availability. We pack all tapes, tubes or sample boxes according to internal electrostatic discharge and moisture-sensitivity-level protection requirements.
