Overview

Smart telematics gateways are the next evolution of highly integrated telematics control units (TCUs) responsible for the next generation of a connected car. Our integrated circuits, reference designs and products enable higher bandwidth and smaller solution sizes empowering you to create faster, more integrated and more efficient smart telematics gateway designs.

Design requirements

Smart telematics gateway designs require circuits and expertise to achieve:

  • Highly integrated TCU that can include elements of a gateway control module.
  • eCall functionality, switching functionality and over-the-air updates all in one system.
  • Increased support of wireless connectivity to and from the vehicle.
