Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create an innovative gas detector design used in fire safety systems that warn of high concentrations of combustible or toxic gases or used in HVAC systems to monitor indoor air quality.

Design requirements

Gas detector designs often require:

  • Solutions for measuring carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and combustible gases.
  • Self-calibration techniques to protect against sensor drift over time.
  • Nano-amp quiescent current designs to enable 10-year battery life.
  • Support for 2.4-GHz and Sub-1-GHz communication standards.
