Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create portable, rugged, reliable and more efficient global positioning system (GPS) personal navigation device designs that use satellite communications and wireless connectivity to provide precise location, altitude information, navigation assistance, and may include user activity and tracking information.

Design requirements

Modern GPS personal navigation device systems require:

  • Vivid, high-resolution LED display with capacitive touch and audio feedback.
  • Multi-standard connectivity that includes GPS, cellular, Wi-Fi® and Bluetooth®.
