Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create innovative occupancy detection applications to detect, track, count and identify human activity to make critical decisions. Our technologies feature the latest advancements in mmWave sensing, 3D Time of Flight (ToF), thermopile-IR sensor, thermal imaging and many other capabilities.

Design requirements

Occupancy detection (people tracking, people counting) designs often require:

  • 3D ToF depth information for easier segmentation of images with simpler analytics.
  • Ability to differentiate between humans, pets and objects.
  • Multiple object detection by using range, velocity and angle.
  • Immune to environmental changes and low visibility conditions.
  • No infringement of privacy.
