Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs for railway auxiliary power systems help you create compact, robust and reliable power converters with high-efficiency, long lifetime isolation and multiprotocol train communication interfaces with high electromagnetic compatibility (EM) immunity.

Design requirements

Railway auxiliary power systems often require:

  • Robust, isolated IGBT/SiC FET gate drives with integrated protection and high CMTI.
  • High-performance, real-time processing for advanced digital power control.
  • Multiple train communication interfaces such as CAN, MVB and Ethernet for high interoperability with other systems.
  • Advanced diagnostics and monitoring for easier service and predictive maintenance.
