Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs for automotive smart glass modules provide the flexibility and scalability to drive various sizes of smart glass with efficient power products including boost converters, full-bridge drivers and sensors.

Design requirements

Smart glass module designs for automotive require:

  • Optimized full-bridge and filter design in order to produce an accurate AC signal.
  • Efficient high-voltage power stages to generate the required power level for the glass.
  • Discrete control of the signal amplitude to provide precise tinting levels.
