AFE4960EVM
AFE4960 evaluation module for two-channel ECG AFE with integrated respiration and pace detection
AFE4960EVM
Overview
The AFE4960 evaluation module (EVM) is a platform for evaluating the AFE4960 biosensing analog front end (AFE), which supports synchronized signal acquisition of electrocardiogram (ECG) and bioimpedance signals.
AFE4960 can be configured as either a two-channel ECG receiver or as a one-channel ECG receiver and a respiration impedance channel. The AFE signal chains can interface in a flexible manner to up to four electrodes. A right-leg drive (RLD) amplifier output can be used to set the body bias. The AFE has DC lead biasing for lead on/off detection, and AC lead biasing for measuring the lead impedance.
Pacemaker pulse detection is supported on one channel. Programmable decimation filters at the output of both channels reduce the output data rate.
