Overview

The LM74912-Q1 evaluation module evaluates the operation and performance of the LM74912-Q1 ideal diode controller in reverse battery protection applications. This evaluation module demonstrates how LM74912-Q1 controls two back-back N-channel power MOSFETs to emulate an ideal diode rectifier with power path ON/OFF control, output short circuit and overvoltage protection.

  • 3-V to 65-V operating voltage range
  • Output short circuit protection with adjustable current limit using RSET and RISCP at 14 A
  • SLEEP mode selection which enables ultra-low quiescent current consumption
  • LED indication for fault indication and output ON/OFF detection
