Note: This kit does not include microcontroller samples. Any MCU samples must be ordered separately.
The MSP-FET is a powerful flash emulation tool to quickly begin application development on MSP430 microcontrollers.
It includes a USB interface to program and debug the MSP430 in-system through the JTAG interface or the pin-saving Spy-Bi-Wire (2-wire JTAG) protocol. The enclosed MSP-FET development tool supports development with all MSP430 devices and is designed for use in conjunction with PCBs that contain MSP430 devices; for example, the MSP430 target socket boards.
The MSP-TS430RGE24A is a standalone 24-pin ZIF socket target board that is used to program and debug the MSP430 MCU in-system through the JTAG interface or the Spy Bi-Wire (2-wire JTAG) protocol.
Device Support: The MSP-TS430RGE24A development board supports the MSP430FR2433 FRAM MCU in a 24-pin QFN package (TI package code: RGE).
Features
- Development board (MSP-TS430RGE24A) with a ZIF socket fitting some MSP430 derivatives in 24-pin QFN (RGE) packages includes an LED indicator, JTAG adapter, and header pin-outs for prototyping
- Includes MSP-FET with USB debugging interface to connect any MSP430 MCU to a computer for real-time, in-system programming and debugging
