Overview

This reference design uses the UCC28742 flyback controller to generate two outputs (12 V at 2.2 A and 3.3 V at 1.5 A) from a universal input. UCC28742 uses an optical coupler to regulate the output and improve transient response. The valley-switching technique reduces switching losses and keeps the efficiency high.
