Overview

The battery junction box of fully hybrid electric vehicle (FHEV), plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) integrates the core function of disconnecting the battery pack to protect the battery from excessive currents, permanent damage, or thermal runaway. This reference design demonstrates how to build an automotive-grade, functional safety-compliant singular dual-squib driver design.

The board size is 44mm × 130mm.
