Overview

The evaluation module (EVM) is an easy-to-use platform to evaluate the main features and performance of the TMAG5328 device, which is a resistor-adjustable, low-power Hall-effect switch. This EVM includes a magnet and a TMAG5328 daughter board. Also included is a head-on linear displacement module for a demonstration of the head-on linear displacement function.

GUI-controlled DAC option for dynamically setting the internal magnetic threshold sensitivity (B_OP)
Nonvolatile memory within DAC stores B_OP for future operation without a processor
Potentiometer option for dynamically setting B_OP
Resistor footprint for creating a static B_OP
LED on TMAG5328 output for visual inspection of switch’s output state
Head-on linear displacement module for a demonstration of the head-on linear displacement function
