Overview

The TPS566231EVM evaluation module (EVM) is used to evaluate the TPS566231 device. The TPS566231 is a cost effective, high-voltage input, synchronous buck converter with integrated FETs. One of the key features of the TPS566231 is its ULQ (ultra low quiescent) to enable low-bias current. This feature is extremely beneficial for long battery life in low power operation. The TPS566231 operates with wider supply input voltage ranging from 3 V to 18 V. It uses DCAP3™ control mode to provide a fast transient response, good line, load regulation, no requirement for external compensation, and supports low ESR output capacitors. The TPS566231 is a high efficiency converter, and provides complete protection OVP, UVP, OCP, OTP and is combined power-good signal.
