In this lecture, we will learn:
- Interference currents/voltages are often expressed as a combination of differential-mode and common-mode.
- CM current paths are usually purely parasitic, whereas DM current exists without parasitics.
- The “common-mode-choke” is a transformer that passes DM current and block CM current.
