The TI Magnetic Sense Simulator (TIMSS) is able to simulate the travel of a magnet as it hinges toward and away from magnetic sensors. This tool can model the hinge motion in seconds. This video demonstrates the input requirements and shows the typical behavior expected in these types of simulations.
