C2000™ sigma delta filter modulator (SDFM)

The sigma delta filter modulator (SDFM) is an essential component of real-time control systems used on C2000 devices. This module is responsible for taking a digital sigma delta modulated bit stream and converting it to a digital filter output that C2000 devices can process. Each SDFM supports four configurable filter channels, which can be independently configured to detect over-voltage / under-voltage conditions and to provide higher resolution data filter results that can be used as part of a control loop.
