7.3.3.2 External Voltage Reference

For the highest accuracy and best drift performance, the ADC3683-SP reference voltage can be sourced externally. When using an external reference, the VREF pin can be directly connected to an external 1.6V reference. A 10µF decoupling capacitor and a 0.1µF decoupling capacitor should be connected between VREF and REFGND. The capacitors should be placed as close to the device pins as possible.
