8.2 Gain Temperature Drift Measurement

Gain temperature drift is defined as the maximum change of gain error measured over the specified temperature range. The gain error drift is calculated using the box method, as described by Equation 2:

Equation 2. Gain Error Drift = (GEMAX – GEMIN) / (TMAX – TMIN)

where

  • GEMAX and GEMINare the maximum and minimum gain errors, respectively
  • TMAX and TMIN are the maximum and minimum temperatures, respectively, over the specified temperature range
