7.3.4.2 DAC Output

The output range is set by the gain bits in the DAC gain register to 0 V to (2 × VREF). The maximum output is AVCC. The output buffer amplifier is capable of generating rail-to-rail voltages on the output, giving an output range of 0 V to AVCC. The source and sink capabilities of the output amplifier can be seen in the Typical Characteristics.
