7.2.2 Overvoltage Detection

Figure 7-5 shows the AMC21C12 in a typical application of monitoring a 48-V supply to check if the output is above or below the power-good threshold.

The voltage divider (R5 and R6) is sized to trip the isolated comparator whenever the 48-V power supply exceeds the power-good threshold.
