7.3.1 Analog Input

The comparator trips when the input voltage (VINP) rises above the VIT+ threshold that is defined as VINN plus half of the hysteresis voltage (VHYS). The comparator releases when VINP drops below the VIT– threshold that equals VINN minus half of the hysteresis voltage.

Figure 7-1 shows a timing diagram of the relationship between hysteresis and switching thresholds.
