7.3.4.1 nDRVOFF Diagnostic

Figure 7-18 proposes a diagnostic of nDRVOFF of DRV8162 and DRV8162L. If a low active pulse tnDRVOFF_DIAG (typ 0.5us) is applied to nDRVOFF pin, the device responds by driving nFAULT low without shutdown of the gate driver outputs. This device function is intended for a diagnostic of nDRVOFF function while continuing PWM operation. If nDRVOFF is driven low longer than tnDRVOFF_DEG, the device initiates the shutdown.
