PRODUCTION DATA
The ISO6760L family of devices have an ON-OFF keying (OOK) modulation scheme to transmit the digital data across a silicon dioxide based isolation barrier. The transmitter sends a high frequency carrier across the barrier to represent one digital state and sends no signal to represent the other digital state. The receiver demodulates the signal after advanced signal conditioning and produces the output which goes through an interlock stage before an output buffer. The ISO6760L family offers two options, a standard non-inverting channel, ISO6760L, and a channel inverting ISO6760LN. The two offerings make the ISO6760L family compatable with historical optocoupler based solutions. The ISO6760L devices also incorporate advanced circuit techniques to maximize the CMTI performance and minimize the radiated emissions due to the high frequency carrier and IO buffer switching. The conceptual block diagram of a digital capacitive isolator, GUID-D96A0CE1-811A-4378-A578-8B04E2BFF5B5.html#SLLLSEP42188, shows a functional block diagram of a typical channel.
