PRODUCTION DATA
When VOUT is shorted to ground, the module power supply (VBB) can have a transient decrease. This decrease is caused by the sudden increase in current flowing through the wiring harness cables. To achieve ideal system behavior, TI recommends that the module maintain VBB > 3 V (above the maximum VUVLOF) during VOUT short-to-ground. This maintenance is typically accomplished by placing bulk capacitance on the power supply node.
