Programming the Current-Limit Threshold: RILM Selection

The RILM resistor at the ILM pin sets the over load current limit. Since required current limit of 2 A is greater than 200 mA, below Equation 6 for current limit can be used for calculating RILIM.

Closest standard value resistor is 25.5 kΩ with 1% tolerance. It is recommended that final RILM selected does not lie in the ranges mentioned in Table 7-1. Final value of 25.5 kΩ does not lie in those non-recommended ranges and is fine to use in design.
