The TPS3702 is immune to short voltage transient spikes on the input pins. Sensitivity to transients depends on both transient duration and overdrive (amplitude) of the transient.
Overdrive is defined by how much the VSENSE exceeds the specified threshold, and is important to know because the smaller the overdrive, the slower the response of the outputs (UV and OV). Threshold overdrive is calculated as a percent of the threshold in question, as shown in Equation 1:

Figure 5-8 to Figure 5-11 illustrate the VSENSE minimum detectable pulse versus overdrive, and can be used to visualize the relationship that overdrive has on propagation delay.
