All LDO inputs require an input decoupling capacitor to minimize input ripple voltage. Using a 2.2-µF capacitor for each LDO is recommended. Depending on the input voltage of the LDO, a 6.3-V, 10-V, or 16-V capacitor can be used. For optimal performance, the input capacitors must be placed as close to the LDO input pins as possible. See the Section 9.4 for more information about component placement. See Table 9-9 for the recommended input capacitors.
