9.2.1.2.1 Bias Supply

A 5 V bias supply was selected for this design. Since VBIAS ≥ VOUT + 1.6 V, there is sufficient bias supply headroom (5 V ≥ 1.8 V + 1.6 V). Additionally, a 10 Ω resistor and 4.7 μF X7R ceramic capacitor were selected to filter the bias supply to ensure bias supply noise is not the limiting factor in overall regulator PSRR.
