Depending on the circuit implementation, up to two
independent undervoltage lockout (UVLO) voltage circuits can be active. An
internally set UVLO on the input supply (IN pin) automatically disables the LDO when
the input voltage reaches the minimum threshold. A precision EN function (EN pin)
can also be used as a user-programmable UVLO.
- The internal input supply voltage UVLO circuit
prevents the regulator from turning on when the input voltage is not high enough, see the
Electrical Characteristics table for more details.
- The precision enable circuit
allows a simple sequencing of multiple power supplies with a resistor divider
from another supply. This enable circuit can be used to set an external UVLO
voltage at which the device is enabled using a resistor divider on the EN pin;
see the Precision Enable (External UVLO) section for more details.
