Setting the Output Voltage

The adjustable output voltage is externally set with a resistor divider. For more information on how to choose the feedback resistor values, please see Output Voltage Selection. The recommended value of RFBB is 10 kΩ. For more information The value for RFBT can be selected from Table 7-1 or calculated using Equation 12:

For the desired output voltage of 5 V, the formula yields a value of 40.2 kΩ. Choose the closest available standard value of 40.2 kΩ for RFBT.
