9.1.3 Power On in ECM

If the device is in ECM at power on, the control registers come up in an unknown, random state. The registers must be configured through the SPI per Section 7.5.1.2, or the registers can be set to the default settings in Table 7-1 by toggling the ECE pin logic-high and then logic-low. After the device has been configured and has stabilized, run a calibration per Section 7.3.3.
