9.2.2.3 Temperature Measurement

Channel 2 of the AMC131M03 can be configured to measure temperature with an internal or external temperature sensor. Figure 9-5 illustrates an external temperature measurement using a discrete NTC temperature sensing element on channel 2 of the AMC131M03. Place the NTC close to the current-shunt sensor on the PCB if temperature calibration of the shunt measurement is required.
