7.4 Device Functional Modes

The BQ25186 has three main modes of operation: Charger/Adapter Mode (when a supply is connected to IN), Battery Mode (when only battery is connected), and Factory Mode (when battery only but VSYS is turned off). The table below summarizes the functions that are active for each operation mode.
