8.3.10.2.1 Input Overvoltage

If VBUS voltage rises above VVBUS_OVP, the converter stops switching to protect the internal power MOSFETs and IPMID_LOAD discharge current is applied to bring down VBUS voltage. VBUS_FAULT_FLAG and VBUS_FAULT_STAT are set to 1. When VBUS falls back below VVBUS_OVPZ, VBUS_OVP_STAT will transition to 0 and the converter will resume switching.
