8.3.2 Device Power-Up From Battery Without Input Source

If only battery is present and the voltage is above 3-V threshold, the device is ready for I2C communication , and the converter is ready to start operation in reverse mode. The REGN LDO stays off to minimize the quiescent current. The ADC can be used to monitor all system parameters.
