8.1 Overview

The BQ25883 device is a highly integrated 2-A switch-mode battery charger for 2s Li-Ion and Li-Polymer battery. It integrates the input blocking FET (Q1, QBLK), high-side switching FET (Q2, QHS), low-side switching FET (Q3, QLS), and battery FET (Q4, QBAT). The device also integrates the boot-strap diode for high-side gate drive.
