GaNFET Overcurrent Protection

The DRV7308 integrates overcurrent protection for each high-side and low-side GaNFET by monitoring the VDS of the GaNFETs. If at any time, the GaNFET current goes more than IOCP_GaN, all of the integrated GaNFETs are turned off by turning off the GaNFET pre-driver, and latched until cleared through a 20μs to 40μs toggling pulse on the EN pin or by a GVDD power recycling. The overcurrent event is reported by driving the HV_nFAULT pin low.
