8.2.3.2 Detailed Design Procedure

Figure 15 shows the REF1112 used as a 2.5-V reference on 1 μA. This is done by stacking the REF1112 in series.

Equation 1. VOUT = 2 × VREF

where

  • VREF is the reference voltage

In this case, VOUT = 2 × 1.25 V = 2.5 V

The IBIAS is still 1 µA because the stacked REF1112 are in series.
