9.4.2 Software Control Mode

The TAS5720A-Q1 can be used in Hardware Control Mode or Software Control Mode. In order to place the device in software control mode, the two gain pins (GAIN[1:0]) should be pulled HIGH. When this is done, the HW/SCL and FREQ/SDA pins are allocated to serve as the clock and data lines for the I²C Control Port.
