11 Power Supply Recommendations

The TLIN1028-Q1 was designed to operate directly off a car battery, or any other DC supply ranging from 5.5 V to 28 V . A 100 nF decoupling capacitor should be placed as close to the VSUP pin of the device as possible.For applications where the device goes from no load to full load, a minimum decoupling capacitance to ground of 10 μF is recommended when the LDO turns on. If the device is going from 20 µA to full load then a minimum of 1.5 µF capacitance is recommended.
