9.3 Power Supply Recommendations

The TMUX582F-SEP operates across a wide supply range of 8V to 22V in single-supply mode. T. For improved supply noise immunity, use a supply decoupling capacitor ranging from 0.1µF to 10µF from VDD pin to ground. Always ensure the ground (GND) connection is established before supplies are ramped.

The fault supply (VFP ) provide the current required to operate the fault protection, and thus, must be a low impedance supply. They can be derived from the primary supplies by using a resistor divider and buffer. The fault supply must not exceed the primary supply as it might cause unexpected behavior of the switch.
