9.1 Application Information

The TPS25981xx is a 2.7-V to 16-V, 10-A eFuse that is typically used for power rail protection applications. The device operates from 2.7 V to 16 V with adjustable overvoltage and undervoltage protection. The device provides ability to control inrush current. The device can be used in a variety of systems such as server motherboard/add-on cards/NIC, optical modules, enterprise switches/routers, Industrial PC, UHDTV. The design procedure explained in the subsequent sections can be used to select the supporting component values based on the application requirement.
