8.2.2.3 Input Capacitor Selection

The device requires an input decoupling capacitor and a bulk capacitor. A ceramic capacitor over 10 µF is recommended for the decoupling capacitor. The capacitor voltage rating must to be greater than the maximum input voltage. In case of separate VVCC and VVIN, a ceramic capacitor over 10 µF is recommended for the input voltage. Placing a ceramic capacitor with a value higher than 0.1 µF for the VCC is recommended also.
