8.3.10.6 Thermal Shutdown

The internal thermal-shutdown circuitry forces the device to stop switching if the junction temperature exceeds a typical value of 160°C. When the junction temperature drops below a typical value of 150°C, the internal thermal-auto-retry timer tHIC_THERMAL begins to count. The device reinitiates the power-up sequence once the thermal-auto-retry timer expires.
