TPS5433xAファミリのデバイスは、入力電圧範囲が4.5V~28Vの同期コンバータです。このデバイスにはローサイド・スイッチングFETが搭載されており、外付けのダイオードが必要ないため、部品数を減らすことができます。
内蔵の128mΩおよび84mΩのMOSFET、低いIQ、軽負荷時のパルス・スキップにより最大の効率を実現しています。イネーブル・ピンにより、シャットダウン時消費電流を2μAまで低減できます。この降圧型(バック)コンバータは、温度に対して1.5%と安定した、十分にレギュレートされている基準電圧により、さまざまな負荷に対して正確なレギュレーションを実現します。
ハイサイドMOSFETでのサイクル単位の電流制限により、TPS5433xAファミリのデバイスは過負荷の状況で保護されて、ローサイドのソース電流制限により電流暴走が防止され、強化されています。ローサイドのシンク電流制限により、ローサイドMOSFETがオフになることで、過剰な逆電流が防止されます。あらかじめ設定された時間を超えて過電流の状態が続いた場合、ヒカップ・モード保護が作動します。サーマル・シャットダウンにより、ダイの温度がスレッショルドを超えるとデバイスがディスエーブルされ、設定済みの過熱ヒカップ時間が経過するとイネーブルに戻ります。
